"So this is the girl,"- Regina said staring at Kristy with that scary appraising glance. The vampire was beautifull with her raven dark hair, curled at the tips, and eyes of lightest shade of turquoise. She was wearing beautifull vintage black dress with huge multiple layers skirts which gave her that delicately luxurious Audrey Hepburn look. Kristy felt utterly uncomfortable and stupid in her Star Wars fan t-shirt and thin jacket. The girl gave Al an cautious glance, and that stared back at Regina.
" I guess," Kristine answered barely louder than a whisper.
" Oh, you can't answer wrong that sort of questions," Rena said in a confident voice.
" Rena, would you please behave," Albert asked, his voice trembling with laughter he was trying to hold back.
" Oh, he's absolutely smitten with you," she breathed out in a dreamy voice, appearing next to Kristy and grabbing her hand, " You may leave now, we have some girls things to talk about."
Al got tensed for a moment, he shot Kristy a look, but she shook her head seriously, than he looked back at Regina.
" I won't hurt her, though her heart is beating deliciously," the vampire laughed.
" I'll be fine," Kristy noded, almost getting that weird sence of humor, she managed an awkward half-smile letting Rena to drag her away.
"I'm here to get my answers" Kristy announced bravely as soon as they rounded the corner.
" That's intriguing, 'cause I'd love to get some on my own," Regina answered.
Kristine followed the girl thinking of how oddly easy it was to forget who Regina really was, or Al, or even herself. It was like giving herself a brake from all that over analyzing every damn thing she did lately. She thought she was the weirdest person, because vampire, well at least some of them, were comfortable to be around. And still she was at the crossroad, because if she was given a choice, Kristy'd choose a human life, normal... at least she supposed so.
