Oh, well, it had to happen eventually... Just some Cherik feelings :)
And after all I do believe that Charles could've become Erik's point between rage and serenity, with all those different ideas about the world and a strong bond they have...

Absolutely stunning! Both of their eyes are beautifully piercing and it almost seems like Charles is leaning into Erik a little.

(Didn't Charles become that point somewhat though? They are so dependent on one another even in the "later" movies when enemies that it seems as they are holding each other back; Erik figuring as a reminder to Charles of the extremist he doesn't want to become and Charles as the "passive" serenity, which Erik desperately wishes he could live with, although a life of reforms unfortunately wouldn't be enough for him.)

Anyway, the color work and fogginess is great and I love the clean-cut of the picture! :)

Thank you very much and I think you're absolutely right, 'cause even when they fight against each other's ideals they never really fight against each other ;) It always felt like they are forced to be in opposition in the 'later' movies to me :D

Indeed. The "later" movies really demanded an antagonist, which Erik had to play since he is the radical. That doesn't make him "bad" though, it just creates a distinct contrast to Charles very obvious "good" side with high moral standards etc.

I like it how Erik's face is turned to Charles, as though he's looking at him, yet Erik's eyes seem a little in the haze, daydreaming
